Iowa born-and-raised, I am in the final stretch as a journalism major—there are minors in apparel merchandising and entrepreneurial studies squeezed in, too—at Iowa State University. Cedar Rapids is my hometown, but I grew up attending Iowa State football and basketball games every season (no joke, I’m wearing a Lil’ Clone Club T-shirt I got when I was 9 as I write this—yes, it still fits, kind of).

I’m currently an editorial intern for Divine Caroline, a Meredith Corporation publication, and articles editor for the award-winning Ethos magazine, an ISU student-run publication. I've been so fortunate to learn from the editors of Texas Monthly and Nylon magazines, where I spent my past two summers interning. Check out my résumé, just to the right, for more information on my experiences.
